# Policy Attestation Is Really a Version-Control Problem

An attestation must remain bound to the exact policy version a person acknowledged. A later policy should not silently inherit an earlier attestation.

UDR carries revisions. UDS preserves an exact final state. An amendment creates a new UDR.

## Boundary

UD coexists with current enterprise systems and does not by itself establish compliance or legal sufficiency.
