Can document permissions travel with the file?
UD can carry declared permissions and policy metadata, though enforcement still depends on the implementation and environment.
What UD changes
Universal Document treats document state and lineage as explicit information instead of leaving them only in filenames, folders or platform history. That can make the answer inspectable after the file travels.
What it does not prove
Document integrity and provenance do not by themselves establish factual truth, legal sufficiency, identity, regulatory acceptance or organizational authorization.
